Dimensions Math 2A Workbook

This 184-page workbook provides independent practice for second graders during the first half of the school year, using the Singapore Math approach that emphasizes number bonds, bar modeling, and the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract learning sequence. It corresponds directly to the Dimensions Math 2A textbook and works as part of a three-component instructional system.

Each lesson follows a four-part structure designed for differentiated practice. Basics sections review core concepts from the textbook. Practice sections reinforce learning through additional problems. Challenge sections offer optional enrichment with more complex problems suitable for homework or classwork. Check sections allow students to assess their understanding. Problems within each lesson become progressively more challenging, allowing students to work at their own pace—not every student needs to complete every problem.

The workbook features perforated, grayscale pages and does not include an answer key. Students may solve problems using different methods than those shown in the teacher's guide; all correct approaches should be accepted as Singapore Math encourages flexible mathematical thinking.
