Discover! Math 2nd Grade Set

Discover! Math Grade 2 engages students in lessons that give them the tools to gain knowledge, reflect on what they learned, and apply it in academic and real-world environments. Students build upon addition, subtraction, place value skills, time and calendars, data and graphs, and measurements. Students dive into learning money, fractions, shapes, and an introduction to multiplication.

The instructor guide takes the guesswork out of lesson planning by providing helpful suggestions for a home-based instructor and answer keys for all activities and assessments.

Student worktexts include activities, instruction, and extensions to appeal to all learning styles. In student worktext A, daily lessons build upon addition, subtraction, place value, time and calendars, data and graphs, and measurements. The student worktext B focuses lessons around adding three-digit numbers, money, fractions, shapes, and an introduction to multiplication.

The assessment booklet allows students to grow as an independent learner. This booklet provides chapter assessments, covering 5-10 lessons worth of material and rubrics that guide students through the assessments.
