Science in the Beginning Set
Science in the Beginning is the first book in a hands-on, multilevel elementary science series that introduces scientific concepts using history as its guide. Engaging for all K-6 students, each lesson is built around an activity or experiment, with three levels of review for adaptable depth of understanding. The course offers approximately 90 hours of instruction, 35 hours of which are hands-on activities.
The course begins with the Bible’s creation account, using the days of creation to introduce a broad spectrum of scientific concepts, including light, energy conservation, properties of air and water, botany, zoology, and human anatomy. The Creator’s role in these marvels is a constant theme.
This set includes the textbook and the helps & hints book, providing a comprehensive resource for teaching the subject.
